Collection contains a series of autograph letters signed by R.C. Hutchinson, written to his publisher and friend, Sir Newman Flower of Cassell. They concerning personal matters, but are largely devoted to his literary work, including one letter describing the evolution of his novel, TESTAMENT. He expresses doubt about its worth. In other letters he discusses this book and others, revealing thoughts behind them, publication information, American sales, and more. There are twenty autograph letters, signed, two notes, and one postcard. There is also one autograph letter signed by Margaret Hutchinson, R.C. Hutchinson's wife.
